If you've worked with Madak at any point in the last ten years, this one is for you. Ten years ago today, I started Madak on my own, and today I get to do this work alongside a team I'm genuinely proud of. That's worth stopping to say thank you for.

How long has Madak been in business? I founded Madak in 2016, starting it on my own as a one-person operation. Ten years later, it's a full team that has helped more than 250 businesses with their marketing and websites. Heading into year eleven, we're refining how we work internally so every client relationship goes deeper.

Ten years ago, Madak was just me

When you start a business by yourself, every client feels enormous. You remember the first people who took a chance on you, because they didn't have a track record to lean on. They had a conversation with one person and decided to trust him with something that mattered to them.

I still think about that. The fact that Madak exists today is because a lot of people made that same decision, one at a time, long before there was a team or a portfolio to point to.

Somewhere along the way, it stopped being just me. The people I work with now are better at a lot of this than I am, and watching them do great work for our clients is one of the best parts of my week. Building that team is the thing I'm proudest of over these ten years.

More than 250 businesses helped with marketing and websites

Since 2016, we've worked with more than 250 businesses on their marketing and websites. Some of those relationships lasted a single project. Others have stretched across years, through rebrands, new sites, new leadership, and plenty of strategy calls in between.

Every one of those engagements started the same way: someone handed us something important. Their website is often the first impression their customers get. Their marketing is how they grow. Trusting an outside agency with either of those is a real decision, and I don't take it lightly.

So whether you're a client right now or we worked together years ago, thank you. You're the reason Madak got to year ten, and a lot of what we know about this work, we learned on your projects.

What's changing at Madak heading into year eleven

A ten-year mark is a good time to look at how you work and ask whether it's still the best way to do it. Over the past stretch, we've been changing a lot about how we operate internally, with one goal in mind: the service our clients get should keep getting better.

The biggest shift is that we're going deeper with every client. That means spending more time understanding what's actually working in your marketing and on your website, and then pushing those things further. It's easy for an agency to treat every engagement as a fresh list of tasks. We'd rather understand your business well enough to know which efforts are paying off and where the next real gain is.

For current clients, you'll see that in how we show up: more attention on results, more thinking about what's next, and a team that knows your business well. For anyone we've worked with in the past, it's a good time to reconnect, because the Madak you remember has grown.

If you've worked with us, I'd like to hear from you

This anniversary is mostly about gratitude, but I also mean the invitation. If there's something on your plate right now that you'd like to think through, whether it's your website, your marketing, or a problem you haven't quite named yet, message me. It doesn't need to be a project. Sometimes a conversation is the most useful thing.

I'd love to hear from former clients I haven't talked to in a while, from current clients who have something new in mind, and from anyone who's been wondering whether a long-term marketing partner makes sense for them.
