Astro and headless CMS builds. Fast by default, built to scale.

Madak builds fast websites on Astro, Sanity, Vercel and GitHub: static pages that load instantly, a CMS your team edits with a live preview, and code you own.

Who it’s for. Sites built for speed, scale and ownership.

A headless build separates the content from the website that shows it. Your team writes in a CMS shaped around your business, the code lives in your GitHub repository, and the site ships as fast, static pages on Vercel. It’s how we build when speed, scale, custom features or owning your code matter.

  • Hundreds of pages, listings or posts, and growing
  • Custom features a site builder can’t do: portals, calculators, live data
  • Load times are costing you rankings and leads
  • The same content needs to reach a website, an app and AI assistants
  • Security reviews flag every third-party script
  • You want to own your code, not rent a platform

That’s exactly the work we do.

What’s included. A stack built to last.

  • An Astro front end

Static pages with almost no JavaScript, so they load quickly on any connection and score well on Core Web Vitals.

  • A Sanity content model

Content structured around your business, edited in a Studio your team can learn in an afternoon, with a live preview.

  • Built for search and AI

Structured data on every page, an llms.txt file and clean, crawlable HTML, so search engines and AI assistants read all of it.

  • Previews and safe publishing

Code in GitHub, hosted on Vercel: every change gets its own preview link and goes live only once it’s checked.

  • Fewer moving parts

No plugins, no public database and very little third-party code, so there’s less to patch and less to secure.

  • Migration from Webflow or WordPress

Every page, post and URL moved, with redirects for anything that changes, so rankings come with you.

How a build runs. Model first, then pages.

  1. Plan the content

    First week

We map what you publish and how it connects, then design the content model your team will edit.

  2. Design

    Next weeks

Designs for the key page templates in your brand, with real content, reviewed together.

  3. Build and move

    First Sprints

We build the site in Astro, set up the Studio, move your content and redirects, and launch.

  4. Grow

    Every Sprint after

New page types, integrations and speed work, shipped in Sprints and checked on a preview first.

Built this way. Including the site you’re on.

Headless, explained. What to know before you go headless.

  • What a headless CMS is

A traditional CMS keeps your content and your website in one system. A headless CMS keeps only the content, and hands it to whatever needs it: a website, an app, a sales portal or an AI assistant. The website becomes a separate, fast front end that reads from it.

We build that front end with Astro, a web framework that ships pages as plain HTML and adds JavaScript only where something needs to move. The content lives in Sanity, where your team edits it in a Studio shaped around your business. The code lives in GitHub and the site is hosted on Vercel, so every change gets a preview before it goes live.

  • Why Astro

Pages arrive as finished HTML, so they appear quickly, even on a phone on a weak connection.

Everything is real, crawlable content rather than something a script draws later, so search engines and AI models read all of it.

Interactive pieces, custom tools and integrations are written as code, without a site builder’s limits.

The code is yours, in your GitHub repository, and nothing depends on one platform’s pricing.

  • Why Sanity

Sanity stores content as structured data rather than pages. A case study is a case study, with its client, results and services as fields, so one entry can feed the case study page, the work list, a sales deck and the structured data search engines read. Editors get a Studio with live preview, comments and version history.

  • Headless or Webflow?

Both are part of what we build. With Astro and Sanity, layout changes and new page types go through a developer, and in return you get speed, room for custom features and code you own. Webflow lets a marketing team rearrange pages on its own (see Webflow websites). We make the call with you during the plan.

  • Proof: this site

madak.com moved from Webflow to Astro, Sanity, Vercel and GitHub in October 2026. Every page is built from Sanity content, its structured data is checked against Google’s requirements on every build, and its site search and sitemap are written automatically each time it deploys. The same approach runs client sites like the Olson Foundation’s.

Questions, answered.

Got one we didn’t cover? Get in touch and a real person will answer.

A content system that stores your content without tying it to one website. A site, an app or an AI assistant can each read it, and your team edits it in one place. We use Sanity.

Astro ships pages as finished HTML and adds JavaScript only where something moves, so sites load fast and search engines read everything. It also leaves room for custom features a site builder can’t do.

Yes. Your team writes and publishes in Sanity Studio, with a live preview of each page before it goes live. Layout changes and new page types go through us.

If your team wants to design and rearrange pages on its own, Webflow is a good fit. If speed, scale, custom features or owning your code matter more, Astro with Sanity is. We build both, and recommend one during the plan.

Builds run inside full-service projects, which start at $7,000 a month with the strategy, the build, SEO and the systems behind it included. Most projects run three months to a year.

Yes. We move every page and post into Sanity, keep or redirect every URL, and carry over titles, descriptions and structured data, so the rankings you’ve earned come with you.
